Invisible Me Warriors Internship and Freelance

Over the summer of 2021, I was very excited to land a graphic design internship with a disability advocacy nonprofit. It was my first time doing remote work, and I quickly learned the ropes of Slack and Zoom communication to work with my peers.

While I was initially brought on in a research and outreach position, I quickly proved my worth as a character designer, and ended up head of the mascot department and was given the opportunity to redesign old assets for use in social media and branding.

At the end of the summer, I was the only intern invited to come back as paid freelance to continue my work with the mascot character, ZeeBee.

It was a fantastic opportunity, and it was great to work with a subject so close to my heart. Click through the gallery below to see all my work!
